Rockman is a specialist in labor and employment law representing
employers, with broad experience in OSHA and all aspects of EEO,
including Title VII litigation, wrongful discharge suits, unfair
labor practices, employment contracts, and affirmative action plans
Mr. Rockman joined the Labor and Employment Law Department at the
now dissolved Baltimore law firm of Frank, Bernstein, Conaway, &
Goldman in 1973, and in 1981 was named a partner with the firm. He
joined Serotte, Rockman & Wescott as a name partner upon the
dissolution of Frank, Bernstein in June 1992.
At one time, the labor and employment law columnist for The
Daily Record, Baltimore's legal newspaper, Mr. Rockman also has
served as an Adjunct Associate Professor at the University of
Baltimore School of Law. There, he taught courses on employment
Mr. Rockman is a 1973 honors graduate of the University of
Maryland School of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the
The Brooklyn, New York native is a member of the Maryland Bar
Association. His numerous professional associations include: The
Governor's Drug Free Workplace Initiative; the Executive Committee
of the Maryland Chapter of the Industrial Relations Research
Association; the Executive Council, Section of Labor Law, Maryland
State Bar Association; and the Employment Discrimination Committee,
Employment Law Section, American Bar Association.
Mr. Rockman is a frequent speaker at area conferences and
presents client seminars on various labor and employment law issues.
